Quote process

How we prepare a shipping quote

Last updated October 27, 2026.

Quotes are per shipment. This page explains the process. It does not list prices, transit-day guarantees, or a rate card. Shenzhen Shibida Cross-border Supply Chain Co., Ltd. reads the request in Shenzhen and replies by email.

What to send

  • Supplier city, pickup address, or China port
  • U.S. city and ZIP, or an FBA warehouse code if Amazon has assigned one
  • What the goods are, plus a commercial invoice and a packing list if you already have them
  • HS code if you already know it (this list is not classification advice)
  • Carton or pallet count
  • Dimensions and weight, if you have them
  • When the cargo will be ready
  • Incoterms preference if you already know it (DDP, DAP, or not sure)
  • Special handling: batteries, liquids, wood packaging, a residential stop, or a liftgate

Unknown facts are fine if you mark them unknown. A labeled gap is more useful than a blank. The same list is on the quote form.

What happens after you submit

  1. 1

    The email arrives

The form opens a message to [email protected], or posts to the quote endpoint configured for that build. Either way, a person at the Shenzhen company reads it. The site does not promise a response-time SLA.

  2. 2

    Review on China Standard Time

The company works on China Standard Time (UTC+8). Review means checking origin, destination, cargo, and the term you asked for. If a fact is missing, the reply asks for it instead of inventing it.

  3. 3

    A written reply by email

The reply states what is included and what is not. It is a quote, not a booking, until you accept it in writing. Status after booking also comes back by email. There is no tracking login on this site.

What a written quote should clarify

  • Mode: ocean, air, or both options if you asked for a comparison
  • Origin, and whether pickup in China is included
  • Destination type: a business address, an Amazon fulfillment center, or another warehouse
  • If the request is DDP-oriented, whether duties and taxes are inside the number, and who is named as importer of record
  • Delivery, when that leg is included, and any handling limit the carrier named

Shibida is not the U.S. importer of record unless the quote or the contract says so. A door-to-door scope does not by itself decide who pays duty. Those boundaries are onDDP shipping from China to the USA. The categories behind the number, still without a public price, are onwhat drives shipping cost.

Ocean and air are different bookings. The lane overview isChina to USA shipping. Inbound to a fulfillment center is the Amazon FBA inbound process.

Where to go next

Request a Shipping Quote when you have the cargo facts.Who publishes this site states the legal names and the claims this website leaves off.

Send the cargo details. Get a quote by email.

Origin, U.S. destination, and a description of the goods are enough to start. Dimensions can be approximate. A quote is not a booking until you accept it in writing.
